I build systems that play well, ship well, and look intentional.

My best work lives where technical depth, player experience, and presentation quality need to reinforce each other.

Core Advantage

Gameplay systems with the eye of a designer and the discipline of someone who has led teams for years.

That combination is what makes my work feel more complete than pure code on its own.

I am Gabriel "Synthix" Silva, a multi-disciplinary creator from Portugal focused on gameplay systems, live-server scripting, leadership, and visual direction. I started building mods and scripts young, and that systems-first way of thinking still drives how I work today.

Over the last several years I have been deep in Lua and FiveM, especially roleplay systems: inventories, progression loops, jobs, economy balancing, whitelisting flows, moderation tools, and gameplay features that need to feel smooth in live use, not only in prototypes.

Design has always stayed close to the code, which helps me shape interfaces, websites, promo assets, and branding so the technical side feels clearer, stronger, and more premium.

Skills

A toolkit built for systems, shipping, and polish.

My best work happens when gameplay logic, stability, and presentation all need to ship together.

Programming

DEV Built for live production needs

Code that supports players, admins, and real production needs.

Strongest when the work needs scripting speed, backend logic, support tooling, and clear structure.

  • Lua, Visual Basic .NET, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, C#, C++, Pascal, and basic Java
  • Database-backed tools, admin flows, logging, automation, support utilities, and custom software
  • Rapid scripting for live environments where reliability matters
Lua VB.NET JavaScript SQL

Gameplay Systems

SYS Loops, retention, and live balancing

Loops, progression, and multiplayer features built to stay engaging.

My main edge is designing systems that feel good in practice, not only on paper.

  • FiveM frameworks: ESX, QBCore, vRP, and custom server-side systems
  • Roleplay systems, jobs, progression, economy balancing, inventory logic, permissions, and onboarding
  • Unreal Engine with Blueprint-focused prototyping, plus Roblox Studio / Luau exploration

Design

VIS Presentation that raises the work

Visual direction that makes technical work feel deliberate and premium.

Design is what helps the technical side feel sharper, more confident, and easier to trust.

  • Branding, websites, UI styling, showcase layouts, and art direction
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Adobe-based workflows for identity systems
  • Content presentation and polish that supports the product story

Systems Breakdown

How I think when building live gameplay features.

A gameplay system is not just code. It needs rules, data, admin control, player feedback, and enough structure to survive live use.

Example Flow

Roleplay progression / economy loop

01 Player Action

Jobs, interactions, heists, inventory use, or roleplay triggers.

02 Server Logic

Validate permissions, calculate rewards, apply cooldowns, and prevent abuse.

03 Persistence

Save inventory, XP, economy changes, logs, and player state cleanly.

04 Feedback

Notify players/admins through UI, logs, status updates, and visible outcomes.

Leadership & Collaboration

Trusted to ship, communicate, and raise the level around me.

I am strongest when a project needs someone who can ship, communicate, organize, and still care how the final result feels.

Operational Leadership

I run live work with a product mindset: planning, prioritising, documenting, and keeping teams aligned under pressure.

Team Collaboration

More than 16 years of both leading teams and working inside them, with strong communication and steady follow-through.

Creative Problem Solving

Creativity, resilience, and fast iteration help me solve gameplay and presentation problems without losing momentum.

Visual Polish

Because design is part of my background, I bring UI, branding, and presentation judgment into technical work naturally.

Goal

What I am building toward next.

The kind of role I want is one where I can take ownership, grow technically, and contribute to work that matters long-term.

Building toward long-term gameplay work with real responsibility and room to grow.

My goal is to secure a full-time remote gameplay programming role where I can keep evolving, contribute to live projects, and build on the multiplayer systems experience I have developed through years of server work.

I am also becoming a father soon, which makes this next step even more meaningful. A remote role would let me dedicate myself to building more than just code, building a family and supporting them with the same commitment I bring to my work.

The right fit is a team that values ownership, collaboration, systems thinking, and polish.

Best Fit

  • Remote roles with room for ownership, trust, and long-term growth
  • Work that values fast learning, adaptability, and strong technical fundamentals
  • Teams that need someone who can understand how code works and quickly adapt to new languages or tools when needed
