Community-tested setup: use our Windows client through Proton GE and select Vulkan instead of D3D12. This is not a separate native Linux download; hardware and driver compatibility still need player testing.
PROTON_LOG=1 SDL_GPU_DRIVER=vulkan %command%
Use Vulkan instead of D3D12 for this Linux setup. SDL_GPU_DRIVER=vulkan selects the graphics backend. PROTON_LOG=1 only enables diagnostic logging; it is not the graphics fix. After troubleshooting, you can use SDL_GPU_DRIVER=vulkan %command% to avoid continuing debug logs. If the launcher fails, report it instead of bypassing updates with an old Main.exe.
For support, include Linux distribution, GPU/driver, GE-Proton version, client version and the error. Inspect and redact personal information from logs before sharing them with staff.
Level · reset · build
Every reset adds another leveling run to your build. Keep developing your equipment alongside your stats, then unlock Master progression at the normal-reset cap.
Reach level 400. Use /resetinfo to check eligibility and the current cost, then /reset when ready. A normal reset returns you to level 20. Repeat up to 100 normal resets per Master Reset.
You keep: assigned stats, unused points, learned skills and items. New points come from leveling; there is no extra reset-point bonus.
You need all three: 100 normal resets, normal level 400 and completed master-class evolution. You can then earn Master XP and spend new Master Tree points. Press A or use the Master Tree button; Fist Master is supported too.
The evolution quest alone is not enough. Before eligibility, filling the normal level-400 bar does not award Master XP. Master XP uses its own rate.
Reach normal level 400 and Master level 400 with 100 normal resets. Open Account → Resets to check all current requirements and rewards before confirming.
Master Tree progress stays. Master Reset restarts normal level, normal stats and points, and the normal-reset counter. Master level, Master XP, unused Master points, learned nodes and gear stay. Once normal level reaches 400 again, Master XP resumes without repeating 100 resets.
Use the number of normal resets already completed. These percentages apply to your next levels, not to points you already earned.
| Completed resets | Level-up points | Normal XP |
|---|---|---|
| 0–10 | 100% | 100% |
| 11–25 | 75% | 100% |
| 26–50 | 60% | 100% |
| 51–75 | 50% | 75% |
| 76–100 | 40% | 50% |
Normal level-up points stop when every allocatable stat for your class is capped, including Command for Dark Lord. Existing unused points remain; Master Tree points are unaffected. Normal awards resume if a stat reset or Master Reset leaves room to allocate points again.
Reset count is one part of progression. High stats give diminishing returns against monsters, so stronger equipment and a balanced build remain important.
Develop weapons, armor, wings and compatible sets together. Meet skill and equipment requirements, then balance damage with enough defense and health to keep farming.
Use Kanturu and Swamp to prepare for LaCleon. Move up when you can survive consistently and clear monsters reliably; dense endgame spots may need a party. These are farming suggestions, not reset-based map unlocks.
Attack and magic speed are capped at 8,000. Offensive skills have a minimum cast interval of approximately 28.6 ms, allowing at most 35 accepted casts per second; extra input cannot bypass it. Class and equipment speed are retained, while high base AGI raises speed toward the ceiling. At 65,535 base AGI, attack and magic speed reach their configured caps. Individual skill animations and input rules can be slower. More AGI does not remove these limits, so consider its other benefits when allocating points.
Check current monsters and drops →Account reset requirements and rewards →
Choose farming areas by your gear, survivability and clear speed, rather than reset count alone.

/expandinv — Buy the next inventory expansion in a safe zone with trading and shop windows closed. The four expansions cost 5, 10, 15 and 20 billion Zen respectively: 50 billion total. Each adds 32 slots, increasing base storage from 64 to 192 slots at four expansions. A successful purchase saves progress and unlocks the new slots immediately; open expanded inventory without leaving the game. Existing expansions are retained; the next price depends on how many you already own.
Master Reset equipment can be chosen for any class and delivered to another character on your account. In Store → Your orders, change an undelivered reward or cancel its delivery to recover one MR item-reward credit. Redeem the credit there without another master reset. Failed redemption keeps the credit. This never restores reset counts or refunds/grants Medusa Coins; progression and titles remain unchanged. Delivered items and deliveries in progress or awaiting an uncertain result cannot be cancelled. Credits belong to the account and survive deletion of the original character.

Our recipes
Visit the Chaos Goblin in Noria. Use Regular Combination and add the exact ingredients. The game shows the final success rate and Zen cost before you confirm. A failed mix can consume ingredients; a displayed chance is not a guarantee.
Custom recipes below come directly from the running server, including allowed levels and required qualities. Names and requirements may differ from guides for other MU servers.

More than the classic game
In MU Helper settings, enable Auto-Party (when solo) to accept incoming invitations automatically while you have no party. It starts off. Save your settings. Normal party capacity, distance, event rules and leader permissions apply; this never leaves your current party.
Apply supported loose jewels to unequipped equipment in the main or expanded inventory. With your own vault open and unlocked, jewels can also be applied between inventory and vault slots. Normal item eligibility and upgrade chances still apply. Packs must be unpacked first.
Hold the middle mouse button over a stat + button to allocate points repeatedly. Release or move away to stop. The server checks available points and stat limits. Camera rotation pauses while the character panel is open.
A successful Jewel of Life increases the additional option by one level. A failed attempt reduces it by one level: +24 becomes +20, while +4 becomes no additional option. Valid attempts consume the jewel; invalid targets do not. Excellent options, Luck and the weapon skill stay unchanged.
The Chaos Machine checks the current materials with the server before you can confirm. The displayed percentage includes the +20 percentage-point bonus, capped at 100%. A confirmed 100% combination is guaranteed. If the chance changes before confirmation, the mix is canceled and your ingredients and Zen are kept; review the updated percentage before trying again.

| Repair hammer → jewel pack | Release one jewel per click. Keep a free inventory slot. |
| Shift + click NPC stock | Buy up to 8 stock units. Stops when funds or space run out. |

| Carried Zen / shop item price | 1,000,000,000,000 |
| Vault Zen | 100,000,000,000,000 |
A successful unstack preserves the total jewel count and costs no Zen. A full inventory leaves the pack untouched. Enter money amounts as digits; the full 1-trillion value is accepted. Each NPC purchase uses its listed quantity and normal price.
Obtaining range supports 1–9 tiles, independently of Hunting range. The default is 9; saved player choices are kept. Helper walks to eligible drops inside that radius around its saved starting point; pickup distance and attack range do not increase. Ownership, available inventory space and your selected filters still apply.
Use a name fragment with a level comparison. The same filter applies while connected and in /offlevel.
| Filter | Picks up |

Blood Bone<+5 | Blood Bone below +5 |
Archangel<+5 | Scroll of Archangel below +5 |
Devil's Eye<+5Devil's Key<+5 | Matching material below +5 |
Kundun+7 | Only matching +7 items |
Use <=, > or >= to include the boundary or higher levels. A plain name fragment keeps matching all levels.
Other Settings → Low FPS (longer pickups) allows 24 seconds for a pickup trip instead of 12. Save Setting keeps this choice for the character. Attack speed, skill range and pickup request limits stay the same. Try this when slow movement or frame stalls interrupt collection; it does not increase FPS. Timed buff cycles tolerate skipped seconds with either setting.
| Boss | Access | Default health |
|---|---|---|
| Kundun | Private solo/party Kalima VII; 12 hours per entering account; 30-minute encounter | 500,000,000 |
| Selupan | Global; Hatchery opens on spawn and closes to new entries after defeat; 4-hour respawn. Approaching the entrance does not start the encounter. Reconnecting after it closes returns you to LaCleon. | 1,000,000,000 |
Both bosses start with 25,000 defense, 100,000–250,000 base damage and 50% final damage reduction. Each eligible participant adds one Box of Kundun +6 and one Excellent equipment item, up to +13 with at least 3 sockets, to the shared ground pool. Contribute at least three damaging hits, hit within the final 90 seconds and remain within 20 tiles on the same map at death. Bots do not add rewards. Returning to your active private encounter does not extend your account cooldown. An unavailable party member entry does not block other eligible members.
Use /who for the player list across realms, with class, level, resets and realm. Bots have a separate count and do not appear in the list. Offlevel characters are marked and included in the human total. Use /whois Name for an exact online character. The window refreshes automatically and lists up to 1,000 human characters.
Zooming out expands the nearby NPC, monster and player view up to twice the normal radius at 200% zoom. Attack, pickup and interaction distances keep their normal limits. Visibility remains local and subject to the client actor limit.
Open Launcher → Settings → Game font. Choose an installed Windows family, preview it, save and restart the game. Default (bundled) restores the supplied font. Missing or unsupported fonts use the bundled fallback.
/bounties opens the active bounty board. /bounty is an alias.
/clear · /clearlog — clear your local chat and system log.
Server bots show a Bot title. GM posts use the same gold bold styling as their nearby chat.
Ordinary world hunting uses reduced jewel-drop rates. Event spawns, dedicated monster rewards and reward boxes use their own loot tables.
Matching looted jewels automatically fill existing packs in your inventory. This starts ON for everyone. /autopack off disables all automatic packing; /autopack on restores it. /autopack bless off disables only Bless. Choices survive reconnects and /offlevel.
Use /autopack bless to give the first matching pack priority, or /autopack bless 2 for the second. Selection follows the item when moved. If the preferred pack cannot fit the whole drop, another matching pack is tried, then normal pickup. No pack is created automatically. A full inventory can still accept fitting jewels. Ownership rules and Helper pickup filters still apply.
/autopack status · /pack bless 10 · /unpack soul 3
Drag jewels or packs onto matching jewels in your inventory to combine them. The active cap is up to 999 per pack; overflow stays in the source. Unpack before applying a jewel to equipment. A remainder of one becomes a loose jewel. Inventory packing, unpacking and drag-merging work while your own unlocked vault is open. Commands use inventory jewels only: move stored jewels into your inventory first. Close other NPC and trade windows. Keep one free inventory slot per unpacked jewel; a consumed pack slot can be reused. No command Zen fee.
Exact packs of 10, 20 or 30 jewels work like the equivalent Lahap bundles in Chaos Machine recipes. Custom recipes count the actual jewel quantity. Use exact amounts: recipes reject excess ingredients and never consume part of a pack. Unpack the quantity you need if a whole pack does not fit the recipe.
Names: bless, soul, life, creation, guardian, gemstone, harmony, chaos, lower, higher, excellence, option, refinement, luck, skill. Lahap keeps its native 10/20/30 menu and fees. Unpack exact quantities for recipes that reject excess ingredients.
Starter skills: Pasi in Lorencia, Elf Lala in Noria and Silvia in Elbeland. Intermediate skill scrolls: Izabel in Devias. Advanced native skills: Leina in Karutan 1. Check class and attribute requirements before buying or learning a skill.
Shadow Phantom Soldier gives enhanced starter support through normal level 400 while you have 0–10 resets. Its attack/defense support is 2.5 times the ordinary starting values. From reset 11, the original eligibility and strength return; the enhanced effect ends immediately when crossing that boundary.
Event Box of Kundum +7 gives one eligible equipment item at +13 to +15. Starting branches: 70% Excellent, 25% Excellent Ancient/Lucky and 5% full options. These are branch chances, not the chance of a particular item. Wings, pets and mounts are excluded. Check Server Info for the current reward pool.
Check active reward pools →The current starting rule applies 50% final player-versus-player damage, including duels. Combined reflection is capped at 20% of damage actually absorbed by HP and SD, excluding overkill. Reflected hits cannot reflect again, so there is no reflection chain. These limits do not reduce normal PvE damage.
Open Store → Character Services while signed in to the website. Choose one of your characters and review the current Coin price. Fully log out of the game, character selection and /offlevel before purchasing. Only guild masters can rename their guild or change its emblem; all guild member accounts must be offline for those services.
Class change requires unequipped gear and completed active class-specific quests. It keeps level, XP, resets, inventory and vaults; allocated normal stats return to unused points with the new class base values. Learned Master Tree points are refunded while Master Level and XP stay. Old skills are cleared; learn your new class skills and review Helper selections. Earned Infinity Arrow returns for eligible Elves. Future level points use the new class rate and completed Marlon bonus where eligible. Equivalent class evolution is preserved where available. Renames keep the character or guild identity, memberships and progress.
For guild emblems, choose a colour and draw on the 8×8 grid. Clear makes the design blank; purchase applies it. If a purchase response is lost, use Retry same request and keep its receipt ID for staff. Never start another purchase to resolve an uncertain response.
Master reset is our Prestige system, not a separate currency or shop. Check Account → Resets for current eligibility, title and Medusa Coin rewards. Normal level, stats, normal points and normal resets restart. Master level, Master XP, unused Master points and learned nodes remain as your progression advantage.
Account reset tools →Log in on this website, open Vote Rewards and enter the account name shown there on the vote site. Complete the CAPTCHA, return, and verify your vote. Clicking a link alone does not earn coins. Current reward and cooldown appear on the vote page.
Vote rewards →Options → Background mute controls whether music and sound effects mute when the game loses focus. The choice saves automatically; disabling it lets audio continue in the background. Returning to the game restores your configured volumes.
Monster and skill sounds fade with distance: full volume within 2 tiles and silence at 20 tiles. Music and interface sounds use their own volume controls.
With Discord desktop open and activity sharing enabled, the Windows client shows your character and class with Website and Discord buttons. Playtime is available in the website rankings and character profiles. Activity clears on character selection, disconnection or normal exit. To disable it, set Enabled=0 under [Discord] in config.ini and restart. Proton requires a working bridge to Discord desktop.
Rankings → Playtime shows connected gameplay, including MU Helper, and a separate /offlevel ranking. Character profiles show both totals. Tracking begins with this feature; earlier hours are not reconstructed. Totals refresh after progress saves and logout. Staff and server bots are excluded from the public ranking.
Normal online resets preserve whether Helper is running. Active Helper clears old targets, pauses in town and lets Bot mode travel to a new hunting spot. A manually stopped Helper stays stopped. Usual fees, insufficient-Zen stops, logout and event restrictions still apply.
Stand on your chosen hunting tile before starting MU Helper. Hunting Range is a radius around that starting tile; Obtaining has its own independent pickup radius. With Original Position enabled, all attack skills and basic attacks wait for monsters within their actual casting range. Hunting Range does not increase skill range. Turn Original Position off to allow bounded chasing inside the hunting area. Long Distance Counter Attack prioritizes recent attackers; it does not expand the hunting area.
Enable Original Position and set Distance in seconds to return to the exact starting tile after moving away. Helper finishes valid pickup trips within its obtaining range before returning; the return timer does not interrupt that trip. Blocked return paths retry without changing your origin. Party support does not walk toward distant members; missing usable buffs interrupt attacks briefly, then hunting resumes. Restart Helper on a new tile to choose another origin.
Choose a usable attack skill, buffs, hunting distance and return-to-start time before starting Helper. For /offlevel, start Helper first and use the command in a hunting area. Reconnecting takes control back. If attacks freeze, report character, realm, map, skill and time to staff.
In the Helper Hunting tab, the seconds field below Original Position controls the return timer. Combo has its own row below the primary skill slots; buff slots are grouped at the bottom. Moving these controls does not change your saved settings.
Helper skips drops when your carried inventory has no room and no compatible stack can accept the complete quantity. Expanded inventory pages count. Free space or use part of a stack to make those drops eligible again. Stopping Helper shows one red system message; normal map transfers keep your Helper setting.
In the M warp window, hubs come first, followed by farming regions and their stages, then Boss Arena and Arena cages. Lorencia Market has a base requirement of level 10, Vulcanus 100 and Boss Arena 30. Existing class discounts still apply; check the level shown beside each destination.
Right-click moves items between your inventory and supported storage, trade and Chaos Machine grids. Right-click your own offered trade item to return it; the trade confirmation resets. Only your own items can be moved. Locked transfers and full inventories still prevent movement. Personal-shop item clicks remain price editing, not a return shortcut.
Use /add or its shortcuts to spend available points. Base stats stop at 65,535. Keep enough points for equipment and skills. A stat-reset scroll refunds allocated points for a different build; check its description before use.
Use live Server Info to search drop groups and the gallery to discover equipment. Event-only items do not appear in ordinary monster pools. Group percentages are not individual-item drop rates. Join Discord for event announcements and support.

These shop-stocked levels do not drop from ordinary monsters. Higher levels and ingredients not sold there, such as Suspicious Scrap of Paper, still drop. Ingredients you already own remain usable.
Hunt level 82+ monsters in Icarus for Loch’s Feather and Crest of Monarch. Both use the same 0.8% base roll; other drop groups and monster limits affect how often you find them.
Feather of Condor is a different material, obtained through crafting. Check the Chaos Machine recipe for its ingredients.
BUILD YOUR DEFENSES
Choose an element for your build, improve each piece and combine three different elements for extra recovery. These bonuses work while the jewelry is equipped and has durability remaining.
Matching elemental resistance points stack. Broken pieces and items in your inventory provide no bonus.
Every upgrade increases the elemental bonus and shortens harmful effects. Higher item levels keep the +4 utility values.
/jewelrySee your current equipped totals. Item tooltips show each piece’s values; the caps below apply across all three pieces.
| Element / effect | +0 | +1 | +2 | +3 | +4 | Total cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| IceDefense | 1% | 2% | 3% | 4% | 5% | 10% |
| PoisonNatural HP & HP potion recovery | 1% | 2% | 3% | 4% | 5% | 15% |

| LightningMagic & curse damage | 0.5% | 1% | 1.5% | 2% | 2.5% | 7.5% |
These are utility bonuses in addition to the item’s original effects. Transformation, special-immunity and multi-element items do not automatically receive these bonuses.
1% → 5% per piece · +0 to +4
Reduce the duration of new poison, slow, freeze and stun effects by 1% at +0, plus 1% per upgrade. Excellent options can add more; the combined cap is 25%.
Equipping jewelry does not remove an existing effect or change positive buffs.
+0.25% maximum HP & MP recovery
Equip a pendant and two rings with three different elements. Recover an additional 0.25% of maximum HP and MP per full normal regeneration interval. Normal timers and resting behavior stay unchanged. Poison further increases HP recovery.
Repeated elements, broken pieces and unequipped items do not complete the bonus.
Keep the original Excellent effect and gain the extra listed here for each matching option present on the item.
| Ring options | Pendant options | Extra per option |
|---|---|---|
| Zen / Defense success rate | MP after kill / HP after kill | +2% HP & MP potion recovery |
| Damage reflection / Damage reduction | Attack speed / Percentage damage | 1% less skill mana cost |
| Maximum MP / Maximum HP | Damage per level / Excellent chance | 2% shorter poison & control effects |
All six options on one piece: +4% HP/MP potion recovery, 2% mana savings and 4% shorter harmful effects. Total potion recovery is capped at +15%, including Poison. Mana savings cap at 15% and keep a minimum cost of 1. Potion cooldowns and shield/AG potions are unchanged.
Obtain these jewels through event rewards. Drag a loose jewel onto eligible unequipped gear in your inventory. A failed roll consumes only the jewel; equipment stays unchanged. Invalid, disabled or already-complete targets consume nothing.
| Jewel | Effect on success | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| Excellence | Adds the first random valid Excellent option to normal equipment. | 75% |
| Option | Adds one missing valid Excellent option to Excellent equipment. | 60% → 45% → 30% → 15% → 9% |
| Refinement | Replaces one random Excellent option with a missing valid option. Option count stays the same. | 75% |
| Luck | Adds Luck if the item supports it and does not already have it. | 30% |
| Skill | Adds the weapon’s own supported skill if missing. | 75% |
Option chances correspond to adding Excellent options 2 through 6. Full Excellent options are separate from Luck, weapon skill and the additional option upgraded by Life. Eligible categories are weapons, armor and shields; custom/imported equipment with unused socket capacity or empty sockets is eligible when it supports the requested option. All five custom jewels also work on eligible Ancient equipment while preserving its set and bonus options. Wings, accessories and items with inserted socket seeds are excluded. Refinement needs at least one missing Excellent option.
/pack excellence 20 · /unpack option 5 · /autopack refinement
All five types support /pack, /unpack and /autopack using the active bundle cap, up to 999. Names: excellence, option, refinement, luck, skill. Packs cannot upgrade equipment: unpack first. A remainder of one becomes a loose jewel. Normal jewels keep their original effects.

The hunter receives 75% of the target’s actual carried-Zen death loss; the other 25% is removed. The target is charged once. Vaults and wallets are excluded. A 40,000-Zen loss pays 30,000 to the hunter and removes 10,000. The Zen reward drops on the ground too. Large amounts split into piles; capped Zen prevents pickup without consuming the pile. Unpicked loot expires normally. Master classes follow normal level-based death-loss rules unless an applicable master-specific rule exists.
Victims need level 200 or at least 1 reset. Server bots and /offlevel players can also count as victims; only connected human hunters earn bounty progress or claim rewards. Connected human victims need activity within 5 minutes; bot and /offlevel victims do not need recent client activity. The same victim account counts once per 30 minutes. Same-account kills, staff, templates, duels, guild wars and event PvP do not qualify. Actual kills can exceed 50; rewards stop scaling at the 50-kill tier. The table describes starting rules; the in-game board shows current rewards.

Find them in Lorencia, Noria and Devias during the invasion. Starting rules place 100 rabbits per map for 20 minutes, every 4 hours from 01:30 server time when the shared event lane is free. Each rabbit drops a Cherry Blossom Play-Box (75%) or one Golden Cherry Blossom Branch (25%).
Take Golden Cherry Blossom Branches to the Cherry Blossom Spirit in Noria (177, 126). One exchange awards one prize from the table. Each Play-Box gives five Golden Branches with 75% chance; the other 25% gives one Wine, Rice Cake or Flower Petal in equal shares.

White Wizard guards stay near their leader instead of scattering across the map. After he falls, surviving guards defend his last position. Maintenance warnings announce the remaining time before a planned shutdown: finish active mixes and events, then log out before the deadline.
White Wizard lasts at most 15 minutes. Invasions can end earlier when all their spawned monsters, including escorts, are defeated. White Wizard location reminders repeat every five minutes by default while the boss is alive and the invasion is active. Follow the latest in-game announcement.
Jewel packs hold up to 999 matching jewels. Read the quantity and use the exact amount required by the recipe. Keep the launcher updated so the client displays the server quantity correctly.
Bring the matching ticket and remove Fenrir, Uniria or Dinorant before entry. Follow preparation announcements and event rules. If you disconnect or see a save error, reconnect and report your character and the time to staff.
Follow invasion announcements to find their monsters. Rewards depend on the monster and current server configuration. Use live Server Info to inspect drop groups and choose which encounters to join.
Use /post for global chat and party chat to coordinate farming and events. Choose support skills compatible with your class and party targets. Each event has its own preparation, safe-zone and combat restrictions.
Plan your next run
